A $1.15 Trillion Loyalty Test?

Congress is being asked to approve a record-setting $1.15 trillion defense bill before it has even authorized the war the money may support. What is the objective in Iran? What does victory look like? What is the exit strategy, and how much will this cost next year? Military funding should not become a test of patriotism or political loyalty. Congress has a constitutional responsibility to debate the war, define its purpose, explain its costs, and put every lawmaker on the record before approving another massive Pentagon budget. A trillion dollars can buy a lot, but it cannot buy loyalty or respect.
